I don't run a business any longer but I still enjoy printing my own checks. I use a freeware program from 2001 coupled with an HP with MICR toner and these checks are awesome. They make my checks look a lot more professional and easier for people to deposit/cash since they don't look like they were printed in my garage (even if they were!).
